Who is Family Support Line?
Family Support Line, an organization located in Media, PA, has been working to help children, parents, and professionals address the difficult topic of child sexual abuse since 1988. Programs work to prevent the harm and heal the hurt of child sexual abuse. Prevention education services reach out to parents, children and professionals in schools, churches, and other settings to reduce the likelihood that a child will be sexually abused. Specialized group and individual treatment programs provide children and families who have experienced sexual abuse the care and support they need to help them recover. Professional training and consultation seminars enhance the clinical skills of therapists and other professionals and expand therapeutic resources for children and adults who have experiences the trauma of child sexual abuse.
